Tony Burke

Tony is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors with more than 40 years’ experience in the legal sector.
A passionate lawyer with interest in how new technologies and resourcing models can support legal firms and legal departments especially at a time when Covid 19 has disrupted and transformed how law firms and legal departments look at resourcing.
He is a long serving member and Chair of the Legal institute of Victoria’s Business Law Committee and remains involved in LIV Committee work. In 2008 Tony was President of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV)
Tony has been appointed by VCAT as an independent personal financial administrator on many occasions. He is currently administrator of an estate in excess of $100M with assets in Australia and overseas.

In 2008, Tony represented Victorian lawyers at State, National, and International legal forums as President of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) – the peak body for lawyers in Victoria

Tony was a long serving member and Chair of the LIV’s Business Law Committee and remains involved in LIV Committee work. He has published in LIV Journals and in 2010 won the LIV’s award for legal writing.

Tony has acted as the inaugural Chair of the Law Council of Australia’s new SME Comittee, representing Australian lawyers in dealing with the Commonwealth Government regarding legal issues relevant to SMEs. In that capacity he was called upon to give expert evidence to a Senate inquiry.

Partha Nag (CPA, MPA, MAICD) is a Co-Founder and Director of Strategic Legal Solutions (SLS). In Partha's time operating in the legal industry, SLS and parent company SBA have worked alongside law firms of all sizes by creating value adding outsourcing solutions that enhance the firm’s productivity, profitability and staff retention.
Partha has turned LPO from being a solution largely viewed as suitable for large firms to a flexible and customised value proposition for smaller to medium practices which enables smaller firms to compete on an equal footing with larger counterparts. This is done by enhancing firm profitability through increased productivity and an easy LPO deployment model.
