Ricky Raad is a Consulting Principal at SLS and has extensive expertise in the area of commercial, industrial and retail leasing acting for both landlord’s and tenant’s. Ricky also has significant experience and an impressive track record in contractual disputes, debt recovery, corporations law, construction disputes and competition law.

Whether it be across his leasing practice, commercial/corporate disputes or debt recovery practice, Ricky’s pragmatic and commercial approach paired with his deep understanding of the law ensures that his Clients are fully aware of their legal rights and commercial options with each matter from its inception to the end. At the forefront of each transaction is the protection of his client’s business and financial interests coupled with his passion for helping those who have been aggrieved.

Ricky predominately practices in NSW and has acted on for a range of clients across his service areas for ASX listed companies, government departments and government related entities, national franchisors and franchisees, real estate institute trusts, developers, retailers and distributors, property companies and family owned businesses.

Alex’s passion for property law has seen him develop practical knowledge and experience in the areas of commercial property, industrial & retail leasing, property disputes, liquor licensing, property development and strata title. Alex also has experience in rural purchases and sale of property and interstate conveyancing including QLD, ACT and Victoria.

Through this experience, Alex has had the opportunity to work with a diverse client base including families, individuals, first home buyers to high end property developers.

A natural communicator, Alex has the ability to clearly and logically explain various options to his clients. He has a laid back and calm approach and can easily explain complex legal information in plain English. Alex understands that the purchase transaction can be a very stressful and/or an exciting time in a person’s life, so he always meets the client where they are at. Alex enjoys working with his clients throughout each stage to achieve desirable outcomes.

Alex has gained experience preparing and conducting monthly presentations to various brokers and stakeholders on the buying and selling process from a legal perspective. In more recent times, Alex assisted in the sale of a 100-unit development site which included drafting easements, restrictions and associated documents, through to settlement and acting for the landlord of a medium to large shopping centre in central NSW. Outside of work, Alex enjoys playing basketball and playing golf.
